JOURNALISM

  RaShayla is a graduate of Texas Tech’s College of Media and Communications, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She studied various courses in sports reporting,  international media, and public relations in her time at Tech. A lot of RaShayla’s experience in journalism is in the fast paced world of sports. She served as a student assistant in the Office of Athletics Communications from her sophomore through senior years at Tech, assisting sports information directors in men’s and women’s basketball and football, to name a few. She also interned in newsrooms, and produced many stories of her own, between internships and university publications. Check out some of her work and résumé below!
